Ballina Art Society

Ballina Art Society is a long standing local not for profit organisation that aims to support and enhance the skills of local artists.

Annual membership of the Ballina Art Society gives you:

  • access to our varied program of group art classes held during each school term
  • the opportunity to exhibit and sell your art works at our annual three day exhibition
  • regular contact with other creative people at our classes and intermittent social activities

Each year we engage local tutors to provide demonstrations and individual guidance on specific mediums, subject matter, technique and styles of painting, drawing or print making.

We cater for adults with an interest in improving their artistic skills irrespective of their prior level of experience.

Our classes, usually over a four week block, are held on Thursdays 9-3pm at the Scout Hall on Canal Road, Ballina. This spacious and quiet venue beside the creek is the ideal supportive environment to bring out your creative talents.
